The Brush and Palette Art Guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Art in the Bay Shore Area of Monmouth County, New Jersey.  The Guild gathers every Tuesday evening (except July and August) from 7 - 9 PM at the James J. Cullen Center in Veteran's Park, 1776 Union Avenue, Hazlet, New Jersey.

The Guild, organized in 1986, sponsors Drawing, Painting and Decorative Art Classes using mediums of Acrylics, Water Color, Pastels, etc.

Evenings when no classes are being held are referred to as Workshops and members have two hours of dedicated time to work on unfinished paintings.

All classes are taught by professional art instructors with years of experience.  Workshops are conducted by qualified member artists.

When classes are being held, those members not taking the current class,  have time to devote to their own individual works in progress.

Member artists have shown their work and won awards at:

The Old Bridge Library
St. Mary's Church of Keyport
 Keyport Historical Society
 Monmouth County Fair
Matawan's Women's Club
Monmouth Senior Citizens of
Thompson Park
 The Hazlet Library
 Matawan Rotary Club
 Mitchell Sanborn Gallery
 just to name a few...

Each year the Guild gives awards to outstanding, graduating High School Art Students  to encourage them to continue in the arts and humanities.

Why not join and become a part of this growing organization?
$10 a year dues and an interest in art are the only requirements.
